3CS aims to support the cable car and urban transport industry by providing a platform for exchange between leading manufacturers, policy makers and urban mobility planners. The 3CS initiative was successfully launched at INTERALPIN 2025 and integrated into the INTERALPIN INSPIRATION DAYS programme.

As a new international thematic platform, 3CS combines a congress format, a trade fair and an industry platform for urban ropeway solutions. The format is to be established as a recurring international conference with an accompanying exhibition and sponsorship format together with presenting partners Doppelmayr and LEITNER-POMA and will take place every two years at INTERALPIN in Innsbruck. In addition, 3CS will take place in the intervening years as part of a cooperation at MOUNTAIN PLANET in Grenoble (April 21-23, 2026).
